It's going to be hard to sleep, with this rainstorm thrashing around. Went outside and nearly got clobbered by a falling tree branch. 1.21" of rain fell over the last 25.5 hours, plus 1.51", for a February total of 2.72" so far at Sacramento Executive Airport.
I was scouting around, looking for flooding near the house, and noticed far more water than I expected in the basin under the back porch. Turns out the abandoned sewage line there is erupting water. That line should be completely inert, but apparently it's filling with groundwater and burbling upwards like a nightmare geyser from hell. It's going to be hard to go to sleep.
